King Kong (HD DVD)

The King Kong Extended Edition adds another thirteen minutes to the film. This extended cut is only available on SD DVD at the moment. It has not been determined yet whether the longer version contains some restored footage removed due to censorship, i.e. to secure a US PG-13 rating. More than likely, the extended version simply added more narrative content and characterisation.
