Hannibal

There has been considerable speculation that a scene towards the end of the movie has been censored on the R4 DVD. Essentially, it is claimed that the correct sequence of events is that Hannibal peels back the brain covering, slices a piece of brain and then places it in a frypan. The point of contention is whether or not the actual slicing of the piece of brain is shown. This shot is not present on the R4 DVD. According to reputable sources, such a shot was never in the movie in any form and in fact was never even shot. The implication is so strong, however, that it is understandable that people could mistakenly believe that such a shot was actually present.
