Dressed To Kill (1980)

This movie is available in at least three different versions. The "TV" cut did get released on videotape at one stage. The unrated cut is the director's original and intended version. The R-rated cut involves some small excisions (to the shower scene, to the slashings, and to the scene between Nancy Allen and Michael Caine), but nothing like the wholesale distortion of the TV cut. The R4 disc is the R-rated cut. The R1 DVD contains both the R-rated and unrated cuts, and a comparison between the three versions. If you want the director's intended version, your only option is the R1 disc.
