The world has gone to Hell. And Hell has sent it back. By 2068, war and ecological assaults have ravaged the Earth's atmosphere, the ozone layer lies in shreds, and continent sized storms punish the landscape. Camps of survivors fight for whatever scraps of food remain, using anything as food - including survivors.

John Thomas Garth, a survivor and former Major in the Marines and recipient of the Medal of Honor, tries to protect his people from the inevitable end. But then hope arrives in a seemingly simple offer. Garth is hired to by the wealthiest man alive to "liberate" some of the world's treasures currently stored in safekeeping at a nearby estate. In exchange, his people will be given all the food and medicine necessary - an offer he can't refuse. All he has to do is get his assembled team of warriors past Encrypt - a security system that has torn two previous elite squads to ribbons! Filled with lethal stealth-humans, booby-traps and a monstrosity called The Rock - an autonomous combat robot designed to destroy intruders, their greatest fear is they will never return from the Encrypt.
