Made in 1939 "Jamaica Inn" was the last film Hitchcock made in England before heading for America. Often overlooked as one of his lesser-known works the film is worthy of merit and a "must have" for any serious Hitchcock fan.

A plot full of intrigue and suspense revolves around a young woman who finds herself on the Cornish coast living at Jamaica Inn with her aunt and uncle. The quiet country inn is actually the focal point for a gang of pirates. Mary soon finds herself tangled up in a life-threatening web of deception where nothing is what it seems to be.
