Based on the true story of a British war ship which was sunk in the Mediterranean the tale revolves around three survivors (Coward, Mills and Miles) drifting on a life raft. Whilst awaiting rescue the men relive their lives through flashbacks.

Real combat footage from the war has been included in the movie which gives the story authenticity. A real "must have" for any collector of naval war movies.
