This sixth entry in the Crosby/Hope/Lamour “Road” series was the only one produced in Technicolour. In this instalment Bob Hope and Bing Crosby play George Cochran and Harold Grindley, American vaudevillians stranded in Australia. They flee Australia to avoid shotgun weddings, and consequently sign on as deep sea divers for a hostile South-Sea island Prince. After many hilarious ‘goings on’ Cochran and Gridley escape to another tropical paradise, but in the end, only one guy is gonna get the girl of his dreams. Hilarious slapstick comedy, including cameos from Dean Martin, jerry Lewis, Bob Crosby and Humphrey Bogart.
