From 1975 to 1983, "The Don Lane Show" was compulsory late night viewing...And to this day, it remains the standard for variety television in Australia.It was quite a journey for Morton Donald Isaccson...from eking a living on America's club circuit to becoming the Gold Logie winning host of a top rating Australian variety show. Back then, Don Lane was the highest paid person on Australain television and he counted among his friends some of the biggest names in show biz...many of whom you'll see again in this special DVD tribute. And as a bonus, we've included the final "Don Lane Show" from late 1983, culminating in Don's emotional farewell. We've also dug up Don's original 1964 audition tape.
