"Don't Blame Me" is John "Ozzy" Osbourne's personal, gripping and frank invitation to see who he really is and what he's really been through. Filmed on location at his British and American homes, Ozzy reveals the truth behind his then-23 years of solo stardom with unnerving honesty.
Ozzy leaves no stone unturned, no issues unaddressed. The innovative Black Sabbath days, his smash hit solo career, the bat and the dove, the drugs and alcohol, the 'Suicide Solution' lawsuit, his feelings for Randy Rhoads and his Birmingham UK upbringing are all discussed freely. There are some stirring tributes and tales from hard rock superstars Alice Cooper, Jon Bon Jovi, Joe Elliot (Def Leppard), Lemmy (Motorhead), Lars Ulrich (Metallica) and Nikki Sixx/Mick Mars (Motley Crue), some of whom received their major breaks after being invited to support Osbourne on his legendary US tours throughout the '80's. You'll hear what Daddy's like from Ozzy's children, and from his constant support/manager Sharon Osbourne, while Mrs. Rhoads and ex-Sabbath drummer Bill Ward contribute some poignant moments.
Ozzy also unlocks some of his video treasures for "Don't Blame Me", Sabbath in Paris, Randy Rhoads playing live in an ultra-rare sequence, the Moscow Music & Peace Festival, gig moments from the famous Hammersmith Odeon, the Sabbath Live Aid reunion and some electric home movie flashbacks are all included here. You'll thrill to studio footage of Ozzy cutting tracks for the "No More Tears" album, and the outrageous video for the title song.
Ozzy Osbourne, the ultimate master of realities. It's the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Sit down, relax and let him tell you the story...
