GO FURTHER... the new film by award-winning documentary filmmaker Ron Mann, humorously explores the radical idea that the single individual is the key to large-scale global change.Calling his new movie an "Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test on To-fu", Ron joins actor/activist Woody Harrelson as he pilots The Mothership, a hemp-oil fuelled bus on an eco-consciousness raising trip down America's beautiful Pacific Coast. Along for the ride is a small group of friends known as The Merry Hempsters; a yoga-teacher, a raw food chef, a hemp-activist, a self-confessed junk-food addict, and a college student who impulsively hops aboard along the way. Their goal? To show the people they encounter, from university students to logging company employees, that there are viable alternatives to our habitual, dietary and environmetally-destructive behaviors. Sometimes the message gets across and sometimes it doesn't, but as The Mothership cruises along to the films star powered soundtrack, the laughs just keep on rolling.
