An author finds herself the target of a mysterious man’s campaign to share her life in this intriguing romantic drama.

Falling has been adapted by acclaimed screenwriter Andrew Davies (Bridget Jones’ Diary, Doctor Zhivago, Pride & Prejudice) from Elizabeth Jan Howard’s novel and is inspired by a real-life incident.

Author Daisy Langrish buys a tranquil cottage but doesn’t expect her new home to come complete with a would-be- suitor.

The day she moves in, local gardener Henry Kent is immediately on hand to help, and he is quick to recognise an opportunity to change his own life for the better.

Twice-married Daisy is wary of embarking on another relationship - a caution shared by her agent and London friends, who are suspicious of Henry's intensions.

Returning to her cottage to convalesce after an accident in London, she begins to feel that the intrusive man is taking over her life.

But when she suffers another mishap back at the cottage, Daisy finds herself in need of Henry's ministrations more than ever...
