Born in 1872 in Zanesville, Ohio, Zane Grey, who originally wanted to be a professional baseball player, discovered the wonders of frontier America and became one of the most prolific and best loved western authors of all time. His novels, set against the backdrop of big sky country, were full of rugged individuals who embodied the proud spirit and noble virtues of the old west.
WANDERER OF THE WASTELAND (1945)
James Warren starts in this Tale of Murder and revenge in the Badlands of Arizona. Warren's father is murdered and Warren escapes into the desert. Ten years go by as Warren searches for the killer. Finally, with his partner, Chico, played by Richard Martin, Warren finds what he is looking for outside of the town Picacho, AZ. - The owner of the crescent J ranch. But the owner has a beautiful daughter (Audrey Long) and Warren's plans change. A well-acted, exquisitely plotted western adventure.

Well plotted and acted, this drama of the high plains features a rollicking fist fight. And look for a young Raymond Burr (Later of Perry Mason Fame) making a rare film appearance.
