Every March since the beginning of time, the emperor penguin of the Antarctic begins an extraordinary quest to find the perfect mate and start a family. The courtship will begin with a long journey - a journey that will take them over a hundred kilometres across the continent by foot, in freezing cold temperatures, through brittle, icy winds. They will risk starvation and attack by dangerous predators, under the harshest conditions on earth, all to find true love.
Prepare for an incredible story of courage, adventure and survival in the most treacherous inhospitable place on the globe. Set against a backdrop of immeasurable beauty, the Academy Award winning film is a story of love that conquers all in a place where little else survives.
It is time for the emperor's legend to be told in a film for the entire family.
