One of the greatest movie heroes finally comes to television in this high-tech action hour. ROBOCOP, THE SERIES Set in the year 2005, police officer Alex Murphy is badly wounded in the line of duty while his bold female partner, Lisa Madigan, watches on. Murphy's body is damaged beyond repair. As medical experts fight to save his life they combine Alex's body with robot parts to create the ultimate law officer: Robocop. During the transformation, Murphy's memory is erased. His only purpose now is to fight crime as a dedicated police officer. Nevertheless, there are times when Murphy's past life flashes before Robocop's consciousness. In Robocop the Series, Robocop continues to enforce justice as he patrols the streets of Detroit. Again partnered with officer Madigan, the duo fight to rid the metropolitan city of crime and evil.
