Recorded Live In Munich, October 2004, the great Ennio Morricone conducts the Munich Radio Orchestra as they perform a host of classic Morricone film scores, including The Untouchables, the lush, romantic “Deborah’s Theme” from Once Upon a Time in America, evocative music excerpts from Cinema Paradiso, the haunting score for the Mission, and themes that made Morricone a film-music superstar: The Good The Bad and The Ugly, Once Upon A Time in the West and A Fistful of Dynamite. This stunning concert features a full choral choir (Bavarian Orchestra choir), and is inter-cut with visual excerpts from Morricone’s landmark films.
