Forty Guns
Mix a little bit of Johnny Guitar, a dash of My Darling Clementine, lasso in a whole lot of Sam Fuller fireworks, and you've got Forty Guns, one of the wildest and most exciting Westerns of the 1950s.

A tough, noirish ride through the hard, unforgiving face of the American west, Forty Guns stars Barbara Stanwyck as Jessica Drummond, a despotic matriarch whose posse of (forty) hired guns overrun weak-willed sheriff Ned Logan (Dean Jagger) to make her de facto leader of Cochise County. But when one time gunslinger turned US Marshall Griff Bonnell (Barry Sullivan) arrives to restore law and order, Jessica falls for the new lawman before sending her thugs to intervene in his marriage to female gunsmith Louvenia Spangler. In a climactic stand-off fuelled by danger and desire, Griff is finally forced to break his vow of non-violence.

Naked Kiss, The (Filmmakers Collection)
A prostitute beats her pimp senseless, skips town, resumes business in a buttoned-down suburb, rescues orphans and exposes the town's leading philanthropist as a paedophile! Welcome to Fuller's nightmarish woirld, a place where perverse secrets simmer beneath a seemingly wholesome facade.

Pickup on South Street
Petty crook Skip McCoy (Richard Widmark) is a New York pickpocket with his eyes on the big score until he finds a haul bigger than he can handle. An A-list Hollywood cast (Jean Peters and Thelma Ritter) and writer/director Sam Fuller's signature raw energy and hardboiled repartee mark this tough, bona fide film noir classic.

Shock Corridor
Widely considered director Samuel Fuller's great masterpiece, Shock Corridor is a dark and sinister journey into American dementia set against the background of the Cold War and the civil rights movement.
