A film by Jules Dassin

The artistic eye of Jules Dassin turns to the mean streets of Manhattan in THE NAKED CITY, one of the first films ever to be shot on location. When an attractive blonde model is murdered in her apartment, homicide detectives Dan Muldoon and Jimmy Halloran are called in to investigate, focusing their investigation on a string of shifty characters, all of whom have been involved in apartment robberies. But when one of their suspects is found dead, the detectives are pushed further towards the real culprit, which cumulates in one of the most visually beautiful chase sequences ever committed to film.

"There are over eight million stories in the naked city. This has been one of them."
