Two gay friends. Vince and Stuart, live on a cocktail of sex, drugs and clubbing. They are both 29, Stuart is the type of guy who cops off every time he goes out. One night he spots 15-year-old Nathan and brings him back to his apartment where they make love. Now, Nathan is still after stuart, but Stuart just thinks of Nathan as one in a long line of one night stands.

Based around the relationships of these three young men. The series boldy goes where no other British TV drama has gone before. But underlying the many headline grabbing moments is an important drama exploring the intoxicating extremes of modern-day life and love. Refreshingly non-judgmental and atypical in its avoidance of stereotype, the series assumes nothing other than the sophistication of its audience. With a delightful comic script drawing fine performances from the young cast, 'Queer As Folk' is a vibrant, vital and honest reflection of today's youth culture.
