On a tired ranch in the West Texan area known as Hell's Half Acre, two young boys witness the brutal killing of their father by a gang of ruthless marauders. The eldest brother is kidnapped and forced to live a life of torture. The younger brother is found and raised by a Mexican priest.

Thirteen years later the leader of the marauders is living a respectable life forgetting his past evil. But, addicted to morphine, void of human emotions and near death, one of the now grown boys, known only as the Morphinist, has not forgotten. It's time for revenge.

The journeyman is a chillingly dark spaghetti-style Western of violence which sends two brothers down separate paths; one good . . . one evil!
