During a holiday with family and friends, Whitley Strieber experiences several unusual occurrences, including possible alien abduction. After these incidents, he is left with an uncertainty as to the validity of his memories – did they really happen or is he going insane?
Desperate to determine his sanity, Whitley engages any method available to determine what is the truth. Putting himself through hypnotic therapy, lie detectors and polygraphs only revealed that everything he believed is the truth.
With everything declaring that Whitley Strieber was abducted by aliens, no one can really know whether he truly experienced an encounter with beings from another world or was abandoned by his perception of reality.
