VAL KILMER is brilliant in this hilarious comedy from producer Brian Grazer (the man behind hits like THE GRINCH and THE NUTTY PROFESSOR), director Martha Coolidge (best known for the smash hit VALLEY GIRL) and the writers of films like POLICE ACADEMY and THE NAKED GUN. He plays Chris Knight, one of the top brains in the country who becomes a role model for new Pacific Tech student and fellow whiz kid Mitch Taylor. But Mitch soon learns that Chris is also at the top of his class when it comes to staging pranks and having fun. When they both learn that the experimental work they are doing for unscrupulous Professor Hathaway (played by William Atherton from GHOSTBUSTERS) is actually being developed for the Department of Defence, it's time to put their high IQs to good use — to get revenge and prove that it doesn't pay to mess with a REAL GENIUS.
