Australia's Wild Frontier
Queensland’s Cape York is one of the last wild frontiers in Australia and Steve and Terri set out on a journey along some of the most treacherous roads and remote rivers to reach the very northernmost tip of the country. Steve and Terri set off from Australia Zoo at Beerwah on Australia’s east coast and head west towards Australia’s red desert interior. While traversing some of the roughest outback terrain, Steve and Terri encounter venomous snakes, desert dwelling lizards and some of the most endangered mammals in the world. The journey takes them to Australia's most famous geological landmark - Ayers Rock.
