Garage mechanic Don (Cliff Richard) persuades London Transport to loan him an old double-decker bus, which he and his mates transform into a hotel on wheels for a road trip across Europe. But when a beautiful runaway American pop star stows away on board, the boys are off on an international adventure of singing girl groups, chatty French mimes and even a Yugoslavian bullwhip wedding. It's a singing and dancing race against time as Cliff and company find friends, fun and maybe even love, all on a Summer Holiday!

Upon its release in 1963, Summer Holiday broke all British box office records and sealed Cliff Richard's reputation as England's best-loved entertainer. This delightful musical adventure also marked the film debut of director Peter Yates (Bullitt, Breaking Away), and features Cliff's classic hits "Summer Holiday," " Bachelor Boy," "Dancing Shoes" and "The Next Time", as well as the #1 instrumental smash "Toe Tapper" by his virtuoso backing band The Shadows
