Dylan and Tyr stand horrified as they watch an attack on the Nietzscheans by the Genites, a group set on destroying all genetically altered humans. Tyr is adamant about helping his people because his wife's colony is one of the Nietzchean prides being attacked. Delegates from the Commonwealth signatory worlds are onboard Andromeda to ratify the Commonwealth Charter. While Dylan gives an inspirational speech to the crowd, an explosion rocks the machine shop where Harper is working. The crew pretends to be calm as they hurry to investigate. Rommie informs Dylan there is a breakdown in her A.I. core caused by sabotage. Trance and Rommie run a check on the guests and notice a suspicious man called Severin, a Nietzschean disguised as a human.
