A missile carrying biological waste to the moon misfires and crashes back to earth. The Army calls in its elite Special Forces Bio-Detail unit to locate and destroy the deadly cargo. The waste turns out to be a mutated DNA viral strain developed by the military that combines the malevolent characteristics of man with several other predators to create the perfect killing machine. The team is dispatched and on completion of the mission, Lieutenant Hollinger turns and fires on his men, killing everyone except Sergeant Trotter, who escapes into the dense foliage. In a cat and mouse game between hunter and hunted, Hollinger is mutating into another life form that is seemingly invincible. Can he be stopped before infecting anyone else?
