Forced to leave East Berlin due to the content of his songs, Klaus Drittemann hopes only to write music and find his father who left 30 years earlier. He finds success and seeks his father. He meets Emma, a young journalist who may have found his father in England. Traveling together, Emma reveals some surprises, including her reasons for helping him, full of betrayal and alliances that some would rather forget. Directed by Ken Loach (Riff Raff, Raining Stones).
