A detachment of battle weary German soldiers retreating from the advancing Allied forces takes refuge in an isolated anti tank bunker. Dangerously low on ammunition, the men prepare themselves for an attack from the surrounding enemy, knowing they have little chance of survival. But when a mysterious underground labyrinth is unearthed, the men are plunged into a new nightmare. Convinced that the enemy have infiltrated the maze of tunnels, the men become locked in a deadly game of cat and mouse with an unseen foe. As their fear increases, so does the realisation that something evil lurks in the darkness.
