Taken with the idea of staging the Passion, the most famous story in the world, and playing the part of Jesus, Daniel sets off in quest of actors who are willing to drop everything and follow him.
In search for information to help him better define his subject, Daniel makes startling discoveries on the life of Christ, discoveries which hold a powerful fascination for him.
The show is born on a hot and muggy summer night. Grandiose, provocative, disturbing, it is upsetting to its audience, questioning their deepest beliefs and naïve faith.
Every night, an increasingly unorthodox audience makes its way to the entrance of the sanctuary. Mingling with the faithful are artists, esoteric disciples, young people in search of powerful experiences and hard-nosed reporters convinced they have discovered 'the' show of the summer.
Some perceive Daniel as a prophet of a new age of the Apocalypse, others as a rising star on the Montreal entertainment horizon, while still others see him as a lucid young man waging a desperate struggle against the system.
