Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy were stars in their own right before teaming up in 1927 to form one of the first two man comedy teams on the Silver Screen. Their style of slapstick humour took the world by storm and they are still remembered as the pioneers of film comic relief.
This release contains many unique features, including the first film that Laurel and Hardy ever did together, a special colour film, home videos shot by the pair, a film that Stan Laurel directed, a personal interview with Stan Laurel and finally, a feature film length comedic version of the Wizard of Oz.
With over 200 minutes of footage on the DVD, it includes many of the duo’s most highly regarded classics. These include Lucky Dog, Stolen Jools, Oranges and Lemons, Hop to it, Bellhop, Kid Speed and of course, the Wizard of Oz feature film.
