Shot in and around an ancient amphitheatre among the ruins of old Pompeii, Pink Floyd treat the viewer to a stunning audio-visual experience. This session was skilfully recorded in the sun splashed arena by day, and amidst the eerily-lit scene of volcanic destruction by night, and is a perfect transition from audio to video media. In addition to the existing interviews shot during the 1972 recording of Dark Side Of The Moon, this cut features unique, personal footage of the band working on "Live at Pompeii" in Paris, atmospheric space shots and a host of new visual effects.
