Willard (Crispin Glover) is an angry, friendless, lonely young man. Living in a crumbling mansion with his possessive, domineering mother and haunted by the ghost of his dead father, life has become one big trap for Willard Stiles.
But Willard has made an eerie discovery: he shares a powerful bond with the rats that dwell in his basement. Suddenly, Willard has friends - hundreds of them. And they obey his every command.
Wild, ravenous and multiplying at an horrific rate, the rats give Willard a taste of power and a sense of control for the first time in his life.
Based on the cult 1971 horror hit, this is a terrifying journey into a world of small, but deadly, creatures...and the man who unleashes them.

Starring Crispin Glover (Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde) R. Lee Ermey (Evil Woman, Dead Man Walking, Full Metal Jacket) and Laura Elena Harring (Mulholland Drive, John Q ).
