    Compared to the Region 1 release, our Region 4 DVD misses out on:
  • Film recommendations.
  • Dolby Digital 2.0 soundtrack. I'm guessing that this is the original Pro-Logic mix.
    Compared to our Region 4 release, the Region 1 disc misses out on:
  • 16x9 enhancement.
  • Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtrack.
    Compared to the various Region 2 European releases, Region 4 misses out on extras such as:
  • Production notes.
  • Filmographies and biographies.
  • Photo galleries.
  • A text essay on Christopher Walken.
  • French and Spanish Dolby Digital 2.0 soundtracks.
     The arrival of The Prophecy II on DVD has been lack-lustre across the globe. Our DVD appears to be identical to the UK Buena Vista edition. It is a clear winner over the letterboxed Region 1 NTSC DVD. Note, however, that the US drink coaster more than likely has the original Pro-Logic soundtrack. Having this option along with the discrete mix would have been sweet.
