    Both versions appear to have identical features and extras, with the only exceptions listed below.

    The  R1 version misses on:

  • Hungarian, Icelandic and Hebrew subtitles.
  • Hungarian Dolby Digital 5.1 audio track.
  • PAL transfer

    The R4 version misses on:

  • French and Spanish subtitles
  • NTSC transfer
  • Trailers for Thunderbirds, Balto: Wings of Change,  Shark Tale, and The Land Before Time: The Invasion of the Tinysauruses.
  • French and Spanish Dolby Digital 5.1 audio tracks

    Unless the presence of a French or Spanish audio track and subtitles is an issue, I would stick with the R4 version for the superior PAL transfer.
