| Titanic | A forgettable story with reasonable special effects. I still do not understand this film's success. |
| The Matrix | Excellent DVD presentation with innovative effects but people must realise the fight sequences were not revolutionary, please check out classic Hong Kong action films such as Once Upon A Time In China. |
| Terminator 2 | Amazing special effects for its time supporting a solid story, a classic in Sci-Fi. |
| Star Wars | Another classic with ground-breaking special effects. I enjoy Episodes IV and V. VI was a little too cute and happy. Episode I was terrible but did the job of getting the next generation hooked. Hopefully Episodes II and III will be much darker. |
| Godzilla | A reasonable popcorn movie with good effects and sound but definitely not a classic. |
| Independence Day | Terrible plot and script that cannot be saved by the special effects. |
