Inspired by Phillip K. Dick's famous novel, directed by Paul Verhoven and starring Arnold Schwarzenegger as Douglas Quaid, Total Recall tells the astonishing story of a man who cannot tell if his memories are reality or virtuality.
On planet Earth in 2048, every night, Quaid is haunted by a nightmare: together with a beautiful dark-haired woman he is victim on Mars of a fatal accident. He decides to ask the Recall Laboratory to give him a false memory implant, but this goes terribly wrong and another personality surfaces...
He has to go to Mars in order to join up with the underground, but neither he, or we, know anymore which version of reality is true...
