Then one day something strange happens: he cries at sappy commercials, blubbers over puppies and is afraid of the dark. This is an embarrasing predicament for an infamous Mafia boss to be in, so Vitti does what every self-respecting American does, gets a therapist! Enter nervy, neurotic Jewish therapist Doctor Ben Sobel (Billy Crystal) who's got issues of his own. As Vitti tries to get in touch with his feminine side, he's going to give Doctor Sobel new meaning to the word 'closure'. It's Ying versus Yang, brawns versus brains and the Godfather versus the Oedipus complex in a comedy that's a HIT in the very sense of the word.
